​‘ 2018 - 2021 ’ 👼🏻🏹

Recently, I’ve been revisiting my old artworks and rediscovered the healing power of art. Here are two special paintings I’d like to share on the theme of self-love:

- 🧊Iceland 2018, 60cm x 90cm, Oil on Canvas

My artwork has always been closely connected to meditation and inner reflection. I painted through my feelings, 2018 till 2021 were the years I was overwhelmed and distraught. Transition from university to the society and changes in interpersonal relationships were part of the causes. I got lost and betrayed, felt drained and vulnerable. I often felt ungrounded and uncertain about how to move forward.Painting became a way to process what I couldn’t always put into words, through painting the oceans and blues, I have been gradually healed. By recording all my feelings, oceans and the shades of blue accompanied me through those years, allowing emotions to surface, settle, and slowly transform. I was fortunate enough to release those negative and discontented thoughts. At the end, it points out a message which embodies ‘’When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.’’ Everything fades with time, move on, let go and live in the moment.Now, in 2026, I can look back at these two works with calm and clarity. Though they were created during a challenging chapter, they remind me to keep going - and to meet myself with patience and care. ☺️🙏🏻
